Description	This is the Otemon Gate. It is an original and Important Cultural Property. After the castle was deocmmissioned in the Meiji Period it was sold to a private liquor store owner who turned it into a restaurant. It was donated to the city in 1991 and designated Important Cultural property in 1993. From 2004-2008 the gate was restored to it's original glory based on original architectural drawings and accounts of the time.
