History

This was the home castle of the Okami Clan, a minor local lord from the 1300's until the end of the Sengoku Period. Very little is known about the history of the castle, but it was abandoned after the Siege of Odawara in 1590.

+|Japanese Notes=岡見城は牛久駅から自転車で行きました。駅からが遠いし他の交通手段がないようです。行く前に入り口を Google Streetviewで確認すると分かりやすいです。近くには西殿と南殿もあるようですが今回は知らなかったので行きませんでした。
