Most of the castle remains have been turned unto graveyards but if you go through the woods behind the temple you can find 2 horikiri trenches. There are no signs or markings so you have to make a good guess and look around. It was my third and last try of randomly going into the woods before I foun
History
The history of this castle site is mostly unknown. From excavations it was obviously a minor castle or fortified manor. In one record about the Rusu, there is mention of a fortified manor near or at the base of Iwakiri. It could have been this site. The temple was founded in 1540, so the fortification was likely abandoned before that time.
