The mausoleum of Fukushima Masanori (see Takaino-jin’ya for the history of that daimyō) can be found at the temple. The temple sits on a series of terraces lined with ishigaki (stone walls). There is also a large and impressive ishigaki segment which would not look out of place at an Edo period castle.
