Tsuyama Castle - Relocated Gates

There are four possible or likely relocated gates that I could fine. One was a little far out to reach on this visit with so much else to dod but maybe on a future visit.

Osumi Jinja - Sanmon Gate - The gate was moved several times before ending up here.

Honganji Temple - Soumon - Claims to be from the castle but no evidence

Jodoji - Sanmon - The gate was moved from the castle to stand as the gate to the Hancho following the Meiji Restoration and then was the gate for the original Hojo Prefecture when the prefecture system was started. It was moved to this temple in 1906. There is no evidence fully supporting that this was a castle gate but given the proximity of the Hancho to the castle (current museum site near the main entrance) and that it was there soon after the Hancho was established and Tsuyama Castle had some 40 gates, it seems very likely that this was from the castle.

Nakayama Jinja - Only fully documented gate to be from the castle. No photos (yet), far north of the city
