Taishou Encampment (Ena)

'Taishō no jin', "General's Encampment", is a hilltop encampment site in Iwamura Township. 'Taishō no jin', "General's Encampment", is a hilltop encampment site in Iwamura Township. It was the main encampment of Oda Nobutada ('Oda Nobutaka no Honjin') during the 1575 siege of Iwamura Castle by Oda-alligned forces. The site today is mostly maintained as park. The temporary fort's footprint remains in the form of terracing on the hillside, and there are various monuments and signboards around, including those related to the jinsho (encampment) site.
