There isn't anything of the castle left. Only a monument to the Ryuzoji stands in a little public park. The site is just in the south of Saga Castle. Several bus stops are in the vicinity, coming from/going to Saga Station.
History
The castle was built by Ryuzoji Yasuie at the end of the 15th century. The original castle was probably a yakata or fortified mansion, and Ryuzoji Iekane extended it, to a full scale castle. After Takanobu lost the battle of Okitanawate, Nabeshima Naoshige took over his territory. When Saga castle was newly built, Mizugae castle was abandoned.
