Background

Some of the bigger boulders and stones in the harbor were also harvested for castle building stones. The kokuin are the same as those from the nearby quarries. Around the town of Usami they have also placed kokuin stones in little parks and connected them by a tourism trail. Those stones are gathered and those in the harbor are gathered in this album since it's an easy walk from the station.
