Description | You may have seen this before but didn't know what it was. It's a bench underground at Yurakucho Sta. The stones are from the stone walls of Edo Castle. You can see a large kokuin mark on the end of each. The wooden part is actually made from an underground cellar that was excavated from an Edo Period government building. |
