History
In 1585 Tsutsui Clan was transferred from Yamato Koriyama-jo (Nara Pref.) to Iga Ueno-jo (Mie Pref.). Continued contribution Matsukura Katsuhiki was given Nabari and started building Nabari-jo. The next year, 1586, Koyoshima (later Hizen Shimabara) fought, taking the castle and completing it. In 1635 Todo Takayoshi moved into the territory of Ise and Iga and built a house using Nabari-jo. This became Nabari Jinya. Due to a big fire in April 7, 1710, it completely burned down and reconstruction began immediately. The Todo Clan was not treated as a daimyo, but as a small local lord and eleven generations ruled until the Meiji Era.
