Inamurafurujō is paired with Ina Inamura Castle (old and new castle) very close by. Unfortunately little remains of either castle, and so this pair represents the low point of my castle walk that day. Inamurafurujō has a very steep cliff edge protecting it. I'm not sure but I think Inamurafurujō

History
Inamurafurujō ("Rice Plant Village Old Castle") does not have clear origins but its name derives from the Inamura Clan who controlled it in medieval times. The Inamura Clan would later build Inamura (New) Castle and serve Takeda Shingen. The castle consisted of three baileys divided by trenches, overlooking a steep corner of the cliffline. It was essentially the fortified residence of the Inamura family.

Inamurafurujō is paired with Ina Inamura Castle (old and new castle) very close by. I'm not sure but I think Inamurafurujō may also be pronounced "Inamurakojō". The castle site today is farmland.
