History
Takijiri-jō is said to have been established in the Kamakura Period by the Koyama Clan. In 1336 the Koyama Clan held this fortification as allies of the Southern Court. Today there is nothing left except some clumped up earthen wall remains (dorui). The site is now a shrine.
