Tsutsumi Yashiki

Tsutsumi-yashiki was a medieval residence site in Akeno Township, Hokuto Municipality. I found no definitive remains here; it seems there are none.

History

It is known that a yashiki, a medieval fortified residence, stood here, but it is not known who built or occupied it. Remains of dorui (earthen ramparts) survived until relatively recently but it seems they have since been destroyed.
