The former site of the fortified manor house of the Akazawa Clan is now a school; there is nothing to see. This site connects historically to several castle sites: Chausuyamajou, Hayaotoshijou, and possibly Yokoyairi-toride.

History

Akazawa-yakata was the fortified manor house of the Akazawa Clan. It was located near to Chausuyamajō which would offer a place to retreat to and defend from should the yakata come under attack. The Akazawa Clan would later relocate to Inakurajō, which is set much further up in the valley.
