This castle ruin has one big central bailey ringed by earthen ramparts. They are relatively clear of undergrowth, so a castle fan can walk along the top of them. The dorui here is not as high as its neighbour, Mochizuki Castle. Mochizukishi Castle’s earthen ramparts are only around 3.5 to 4m in height as opposed to 7 to 9m for its paired neighbour.
