- 06:47, 30 April 2024 Eric talk contribs posted a new comment on Edo Castle Stone Quarries (There are many depictions of cutting, moving and putting stones into place and different techniques for doing so. As for some of the giant stones at Osaka Castle, if you go atop those walls you may be surprised to see that those stones are only about 70cm thick. Still huge by any measure, but significantly less mass than you might expect. I'm more surprised that they have not broken or cracked in the 400 yrs since!)
