Description	This is the Sakkan area between the central compound and the outer compound. During the Nara and Heian periods it was used for government buildings. After that it was the home of powerful families and in the Edo Period it was home to priests of a nearby shrine. The building in the back is an interesting display of a sample archaeological dig of this site how different evidence was found pointing to the varied history of the site.
