This is the new home of Jcastle info. It is still under development but all the castles and castle photos have been migrated. You can mostly use this site as you would have the original Jcastle.info. Unfortunately, the user login system and ratings are not there yet.
Start by using the Castle Selector to search for castles or browse the map.
Here is a rough plan for the upcoming enhancements. There are still many dead links and display problems I will also slowly correct as I work.
Phase 1 (end June)
- Setup information architecture
- Develop a simple design
- Migrate castles
- Migrate photos
- Develop mapping features (everyone seems to love the maps!)
Phase 2 (end July)
- Develop the login & user system
- Import users and user pages
- Develop the Castle rating system
- Import castle ratings
Phase 3 (end August)
- Work on a new and better design
- Import all other pages and articles
