Onotougemonomi Fort
There is a cutting through the ridgeline which is the Ono Pass. There is a stone marker here. Above the pass is the site of Onotōgemonomi-toride. No ruins remain of the fort and it is now the site of an observation deck in Shidareguri Forest park (Shidareguri is a willow-chestnut tree).

History
The Ono Pass was part of an important route connecting Ono, Ina, and Misawa (thus it was also called Misawa Pass), Suwa, and thus also a point at which east and west met along the Nakasendō. Onotōgemonomi-toride was built as a look-out fort in this crucial point of vision over both valleys to help protect the pass and watch over these important routes.
