Description This teahouse, thought to date from 1864, was built at the castle but was moved to Kozan Park, more or less next door, in 1891. It was where Mōri Takachika, other daimyō and Takachika's vassals pretended to be having tea ceremonies whilst plotting against the shōgunate. A former aide of Takachika's got a group together to raise funds for its purchase and relocation after it had gone through several changes of ownership and was deterioriating.
