Kosakajinja-yakata is a yakata (fortified manor hall) ruin in Inōe village, Suzaka Municipality. It is thought that there was a medieval residence located where Kosaka-jinja stands today. History

Kosakajinja-yakata is thought to have been the site of the Inōe’s clan shrine as well as perhaps a residence from the Kamakura Period. For more information see Inoue Castle.

The shrine is surrounded by a substantial amount of dorui (earthen ramparts), though it has been cut into in some places to allow more convenient access to the shrine.
