History
A historical document (『大洞弁天当国古城主名札』) lists the castellan of Amidadō as Lord Myōkan'in. It is believed that this is the honourific name for a clansman of the Takenaka Clan, and that the castle was centred on what today is Kōshōji, a temple in the village of Amidadō.
