History
Arainojō was constructed in the latter half of the 16th century by the Matsudaira as a fort from which to launch attacks on the Suganuma Clan at Koganejō, since they had been conspiring with Takeda Shingen.

I walked along a grassy path between fields until I came to a boggy area. At this point I gave up on finding anything, but I enjoyed seeing the natural wisteria and other flowers.
