History
It is thought that a battle mentioned in the Imaiki involved Kitabodaijijō. Kitabodaijijō was built by the Katō Clan as their fortified residence, and its ramparts enclosed a space of 80m² in a square layout. According to the Chronicles of Echi District, the Katō were vassals of the Sasaki-Rokkaku led by Katō Rokurōzaēmon.
