History
Kyōraishiminbu-yashiki was the fortified residence of the Kyōraishi Clan, members of the Mukawa-shū who served Takeda Shingen as elite warriors. Baba Nobuhara took over the clan and relocated the residence to the south (see Kai Baba Yashiki). Kyōraishiminbu-yashiki may have also served as the kyokan (residential area) of Torihara-toride, a fort on the mountain to the east.
