Oh'idefuru Castle
I passed by here, the former site of Ôidefurujō, or Ôide Old Castle, on the way to the ruins of Oh'ide Castle. Presumably this was the site of a fortification which existed before the more substantial Ôidejō, which is located down the road. There's not much here other than the shape of the terra
History
Ôidefurujō was a clifftop castle consisting of two baileys separated by a trench, which is now filled in for farmland. This was the original base of the Ôide Clan. Once they expanded their control in the area the clan relocated to the new Oh'ide Castle located nearby. During the Nanbokuchō Wars the Ôide Clan fought with the Kiso Clan and were defeated by them.

There's not much here other than the shape of the terrain, which is a sort of cliff pocket - trenches on either side. The site today is now fields. Ôidefurujō is paired with Oh'ide Castle.
