Ohhira Tsujishige Castle

Ôhira-Tsujishigejō is a fortified residence site in the Ôhira neighbourhood of Okazaki City. No ruins remain and the site is now a temple. We know the remains of earthworks such as earthen ramparts were once found here, but they have since been lost.

History

Tsujishigejō was a satellite fort of Saikatsujō, and a fortified residence of the Shibata Clan. For more information see: Ohhira Saikatsu Castle.
