Sasayama Shuzan Daikansho

From Jcastle.info

Located next to the Jiganji Temple, which contains a famous wooden statue of Akechi Mitsuhide. The temple was not open when I visited.

History

During the Edo Period the Shuzan area was under the jurisdiction of the Sasayama Domain and so they had administrative offices on this site. It is conveniently "preserved" as a parking lot today. The stonework around the base is claimed to be original but I haven't found any reliable sources to corroborate that yet.
