Background
The Takei Residence was moved to this location and is the smallest of the three homes on display. The inside of the house displays artifacts from when it was moved. Unlike the thatched roofs of the other houses, this one has a more modern roof. Due to a shortage of the special grass used for these thatch roofs and the expense to recreate it, the thatched roof was replaced when it was moved.
