Relocated Structures of Fushimi Castle[edit]
Fushimi Castle was dismantled by the Tokugawa in xxxx as part of the Tokugawa's own one castle per domain edict. Many of the structures were move to temples and even other castles. This page is an attempt to catalog all those sites that I have been to.
The Fushimi Castle page has more photos of each structure organized into albums by location, but this table attempts to list up each structure by type. The locations link back to the album containing the photo to see more of that structure or site. For structures that have been relocated to other castles, I link to that castle profile.
Some of these structures may lack evidence or provenance, but I've tried to select those structures that have some credible source linking them to Fushimi Castle and noted that where suspicious or if the structure only uses "parts" or "may have been renovated". I've come across a few structures that really have no credible background and just a suspicion of having been from Fushimi Castle. I've left those out or noted them here.
