It was actually moved to Tenryuuji once earlier, moved to the Imperial Palace (Gosho) and then moved back in 1641. This is why you may see conflicting reports that it was moved from the Imperial Palace, not Fushimi Castle. The gate prominently shows many features of Momoyama Period architecture and is the oldest structure at Tenryuji. Unfortunately, it is not in a good location.
