Jinnoyajō is now the site of the Toyotomi Nukata Factory in the Kashiyama Township of Okazaki Municipality, and no ruins remain. There is a small hill squeezed in between the by-pass and the factory, and I wondered if there was ever a watchtower built upon it.
History
Jinnoyajō was a hilltop fort and residence built by the Aoyama Clan in the early 16th century. It is thought to have been the base of Aoyama Tadahisa. The Aoyama-yashiki was nearby.
