History
Maruyama-noroshidai is thought to have been a fortified beacon tower, though because the bailey is quite large it could’ve also likely have hosted a small force or served as a residence or guardhouse. It is thought the fort guarded trade routes in the area. Furthermore there is a theory that the castellan was Baba Nobufusa.
