- 10:09, 5 December 2024 Matthew Ward talk contribs posted a new comment on Hamamatsu Castle (Based on my visit this week, I feel that by far the best feature of the castle is the stonework. As far as I can tell, it's mostly concentrated in the area in and around the Honmaru, but that area is really beautiful. Also, the reconstructed gate is great. I did wander around the park looking for most extant stonework, and I found some quite old-looking stonework along a certain path, plus some other traces here and there, but unless I'm missing something (quite possible), there isn't a hu...)
